Loved this bar! Different to others as it is more spacious and is a space to dine comfortably. Food was great and service was on point. Drinks all reasonably priced and a good range! Highly recommended View all feedback.
What Michaela O'Keefe doesn't like about La Rambla Tapas Bar:
I was excited to try La Rambla after looking around for new places to check out.. Sadly, I was not able to do so. Yes, It was a Saturday night and yes, it was busy so I didn't expect to be seated straight away.. But after multiple waitstaff walked straight past us, one even passing three times, without so much as a hello then to top it off, four new customers walked in and that same waitress who had passed us three t... Yum, yum, yum and yum. every dish was delicious and also very good. the size of the dishes is deceptive, it does not need much to fill them and the aromes are amazing. highly recommended.
Looking for a bite on our last night in adl, we felt like Spanish (because I was in May 2018 in Spain, we heard a lot about the restaurants in exfoli street, so we have booked la rambla tapas bar. because it was a very warm day, we decided to have a table outside (with too warm and felt a bit dark and loud . very attentive staff, we were asked 3 times from different waiters if we would order drinks: we ordered drinks while we wait for our order. exfoli street is a great place to relax and watch people like I loved the vibe, and that would have been missed if we were eating inside! our food came, we ordered the garlic king prawns (6, bbq’d chorizo, really delicious, but the portion was very...read more
**** good. Staff were excellent. Great wine list. Food was excellent although we did get some salt overload after 6 or so dishes. It was all delicious though. The lighting was a bit harsh. Little spotlights in the eyes. Not sure what they were thinking there.
Food came out very quickly, which was great cos the hunger was real. The range of tapas was fantastic, the chicken croquettes and steak were cooked perfectly. The red wine chorizo was just yummmm. Service was a solid 10. Four of us ordered about 2 and a half dishes each and shared everything filling but not to the point of meat sweats. Yasss.
Fantastic restaurant with delicious, authentic Spanish food. We had the patatas bravas (so good that we ordered a second portion! , pippies and chorizo, gambas al ajillo and the meatballs. We thought all dishes were spectacular and wish you were in Melbourne!
