What a superb Italian restaurant! Perfect ambience:a cosy warm gas fire centrally located in the brick walled restaurant, attentive, knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff, absolutely delicious, fresh food, ALL delivered to the diners’ simply styled table: what more could a visitor or local want? So disappointing. My husband chose this place based on the high reviews for my birthday but it was eminently forgettable. $42 for 8 pieces of pasta?? Add to that a severe gut reaction to the gnocchi. Not authentic Italian. Also can get a better coffee at Cibo’s. Unfortunately we will not be back. Took my two daughters here for breakfast on Saturday morning. Wonderful, friendly personal service! Food was exceptional. I had the pumpkin waffles that were to die for! My girls had the big breakfast and the eggs benedict and thoroughly enjoyed it. Could not fault anything. Quality food and quality service. Value for money!

Dined at Chianti last night with family and the whole experience was amazing! The staff were warm and welcoming and the food was exceptional especially the Pesce Crudo,I will remember that dish forever. Beautiful restaurant indeed.

Perfect atmosphere for a romantic date night, or quiet family celebration. The place to go to have some authentic Italian food. The blue crab squid ink pasta was phenomenal, so was the baked cabbage and the ravioli. The tiramisu is splendid and a generous portion too. Price per person: $60–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
