I did a bit of research to try to find the best Zeppole that Adelaide seems to be so obsessed with. This cafe was mentioned several times, so I thought it was a safe choice. Glad to report that I was not disappointed. The zeppole was served to me warmed up, which I suspect was partially what made it so scrumptious. The doughnut was a little oily, but it wasn't intolerable. No doubt a very delicious zeppole.
The next best thing to coffee in Italy. You'll feel like you've travelled to one of their local piazza's bars. Friendly staff, great coffee, great lunch options and always interesting window display.
Great little cafe in Gay's Arcade and a welcome spot of quietness in the mall.

I'm glad to report that I wasn't disappointed. the zeppole was heated up to me, what I suspect was partly what made it so skrumpelling. the donut was a little oily, but he was not unbearable. undoubtedly a very tasty zeppole.
