Big Wang BBQ
Menu
On this webpage, you will find the complete menu of Big Wang BBQ from Adelaide. Currently, there are 12 meals and drinks available.
The funny-named restaurant offers BBQ food cooked in the kitchen rather than on the table like Korean BBQ. Diners can order a la carte style, with skewers priced at around $1.40 each. The selection of meats is good, but some reviewers found them to taste similar due to the seasoning. The ambience of the restaurant is reminiscent of China, with tacky decor, Chinese diners, and state TV propaganda running on multiple TVs. While some diners had a less-than-ideal experience with cold temperatures, raw potato skewers, and unsatisfactory service, others praised the delicious charcoal BBQ skewers, large portions, and friendly service. Overall, the restaurant received mixed reviews, with some customers recommending it for its tasty BBQ options despite a few service issues.

Was Estel Jaskolski at Big Wang BBQ a mag?
I'm from Sydney and this is the place I have to visit every time I'm in Adelaide. Not only the best Chinese grill here, but also in Australia!! About the service, if you are nice to them, you will get the same back. Very recommended. View all feedback.
What Flo Gaylord dislikes about Big Wang BBQ:
flavour is ok, need more smokey and bigger seasoning. Portions are quite small, which is reflective of the price. Slightly bigger would be good, especially meat dishes. The buns were quite nice. The seafood trough looks impressive. Worth a try just for something different. Staff were relatively quick, but pity their English wasn't great. View all feedback.
Omg, no one has written a review for this gem yet? This restaurant is just off Gouger St, find it and you are in for an adventure! The menu is full of
Really good bbq. Yes, everything has the same signature seasoning, but it doesn't mean that everything taste the same. The onoki mushroom wrapped in pork belly was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Lamb was good and so was the lean beef. Salads were phenomenal and so were the house made beverages. All items well cooked, and service was prompt.
The funny named restaurant is bbq food from the kitchen rather than on the table like Korean BBQ. Food: order food a la carte style, skewers are ordered individually from about $1.40 each. Good selection of meats though they taste similar with the seasoning. Service: no problems here. They have a good system to check food as it arrives so nothing is missed. Ambience: Reminds me of being in China, tacky decor, exclusively Chinese diners and the state tv propaganda channel running on 4 tv's around the restaurant. Open, bright, plenty of seating.
Wow! Very underestimated place. Delicious charcoal bbq skewers and decent large portions for the price. The food is not too overgrown with Cumin unlike some other bbq places. The Chili powder/Cumin/Salt-Shaker on the table is a nice touch if you need a little more kick. Friendly and quick service was a bonus. This place is now a regular dinner for me.
