A group of six chose this hotel for lunch on a Saturday early in July. It had recently undergone some upgrade., its presentation was very good. What User doesn't like about Bartley Tavern:
This is a stylish place with an extensive salad/vegetable bar. The menu is typical pub grub. Good for a quick meal. Especially good with your Entertainment card voucher. All our meals were good - no complaints at all. Not sure if the menu changes much as we came here a few months ago and the menu was exactly the same. Would be good to change it up a bit. Came for a family dinner recently. The place has had a makeover and looks nice. Service was fine, staff polite. Food overall was well received, especially the schnitzels which were on special that night for $11.90. I had the lamb pot pie, it was tasty and the side salad was nice. There’s still the salad bar to enjoy as well. We’d probably go back again.
Place was great and spacious. We went there with a group of 20. Some of us got the food really fast, but some didn't get theirs until others finished the meals. I ordered the pork belly. It was really nice and tender. I love the varieties of the salad bar. Great restaurant close to home :
