We've been coming to Fanabe a few times a year for quite a while and even though we'd always said we should try this place it took until the other day to try it... read more We've been coming to Fanabe a few times a year for quite a while and even though we'd always said we should try this place it took until the other day to try it, probably due to the amount of amazing restaurants in the area. I gave this one star as I couldn't give less, and to be fair to them the drinks were OK. The food was absolutely awful. I decided to try a mixed grill which I haven't had in over 5 years. Crikey, the steak had no flavour, and I'd swear it was boiled. The same with the lamb and pork chops, the flavour was cooked right of of them. Maybe they'd been reheated too many times? My wife had the bbq ribs. Luckily the menu didn't say succulent, and I thought she was exaggerating when she said how long it took to chew. Then as she lifted a rib to eat a piece of meat feel onto the plate. I heard it and it sounded hard. So I tried it, and again, woeful. Well it was our first time there and we'll definitely never return. Prices are on a par with restaurants in the area who deliver food you can taste. I'm sorry that this review is as negative as it can be but I had to be honest, I'm always quick on TripAdvisor to leave a glowing report and rarely leave a negative review, but I felt I needed to here.

I ordered sirloin steak and specifically asked for it to be cooked with no blood but on its arrival i could only eat round the edges as it was so undercooked. Yes i should have complained but it was impossible to attract the attention of the staff. There sole purpose was get as many people sitting in as possible then basically forget about them. Service is very slow. Portions not very generous. Would not return.

I have to say that the service you do is impeccable, the waiter and visible face is a super attentive murcia very nice and friendly. He knows a lot of languages and he's looking forward to everything! He carries the profession in the blood, he makes a lot of effort to make it all right and that's noticed. As for the food we got a lot! Especially the straws! the price is similar to that of the area. but the quality of the food and the attention is higher. Since then we have repeated several times!

Awful.... Very rude staff. Obviously forgot my order and when I said I had to go, after over 40 minutes, Chinese waitress became abusive and tried to charge me full amount for food not served. Toilets dirty as was the tablecloth and utensils. Avoid this place...

I wasn't expecting this restaurant to be so nice. Lots of choice on menu . Nice waitress and waiter and good spot on . Reasonably priced .
