Sushi is very... read more We would highly recommend Restaurant 88. Great for couples and families alike. Have visited several times and never had a bad meal or experience. Sushi is very good, Spicy Pepper Squid is also a good starter choice and the Sweet Crispy Chilli Chicken is exceptional as good as you will eat anywhere. Best time to dine is just before sunset and if you are lucky, you will get a table looking out across the harbour toward La Gomera as the sun goes down perfect. Friendly staff too, all in all a great meal out.

The locati... read more 88 is our favourite restaurant of the Ventura group and in fact our favourite restaurant on Tenerife. We always visit 88 a couple of times each trip. The location is perfect and food is fantastic Last night our experience was disappointing due to the service. From the minute we sat down it felt like the clock was ticking and we were being hurried. But we are pros at 88 and were not being rushed and taking our time and enjoying the moment. We weren’t however expecting our waiter to say to us you know you’ve only got 1.5 hrs. I queried that I thought the table was for 2 hours to which he replied yes you do but you’ve only got 1.5 hrs left. We were speechless. It’s a shame that the waiting staff let the quality of the kitchen down. The food was superb but we left the restaurant after 1.5 hrs very disappointed with the experience. The waiters comment was completely unnecessary and I’m sure you don’t want your guest to feel that the staff can’t wait for them to leave so they can rush the next set of guests through.

The menu is great with a variety of choices, like sushi, dim sum, and noodle dishes. We tried items from each category. It was good but not exceptional. The prices are high but on par with other restaurants in this area. I would say it's worth a try.

The wines and be... read more We hadn't booked but were very well treated while we waited for a table. The menu choice was excellent and very fresh and of excellent quality. The wines and beers were all reasonably priced and we really enjoyed an excellent meal at this very friendly Chinese restaurant. Highly recommended.
