This restaurant shouldn't be confused with El Gomero in Playa las Americas although it's the same owner. Went for dinner on a recommendation of being typical Canarian food and it was.Pleasant staff and service. Started with Goats Cheese followed by Liver and onions and a steak with onions for my dinner companion. House wine, water and two desserts came to less than 45 euros, can't fault the value and quality of the food unfortunatly there is a but.!!! The terrace where you eat is closed in with Windows on two sides, roof and glass partions the law does not allow smoking and here they did allow it.Maybe the owner doesn't know the regulation in Spain that any terrace closed in 3 sides smoking is prohibited. The terrace must be open on three sides to permit smoking. Also two women with a dog added to the farce of abiding by the rules and regulations that are in forcé. Did it affect me in a Word yes,I consider myself an animal lover but not to the point of sharing a restaurant with them.Would I repeat a meal here yes and hopefully the owner or staff will read this post and action the no smoking rule.

Price very good quality. economic restaurant of home style. great rations at cheap prices. 100% recommended as an affordable restaurant in any pocket.

Very good deal, exquisite food, as at home. the spectacular fish, well. All! Super friendly waiters and the environment very different from what you see on the coast, for good! my sixteen

We visit every year, purely becuase they offer the best paella on the south of the island. I have been going to Tenerife now for 35 years, so as you can magine, I've tried a few, but never anything better, and at great value.

Awful experience being rushed throughout. Food was good but service frenetic. Arrived 7:45pm had 2 courses and had left by 8:30!! It was only about 3/4 full and all new staff throughout. Antonio has now retired. Show to table and after 5 mins waiter arrived to take order pointed out we had not ordered drinks so he did both. 2x Garlic bread tomato , chicken breast Sirloin steak. He was Spanish but insisted I order in English for some reason. Must have thought I was a tourist rather than resident!! Garlic bread arrived with 5 mins and the 6/7 waiters were constantly rushing around but it was not that busy. A few minutes later our mains arrived. Not even halfway through the garlic bread. He was going to leave them on the table but I insisted it went back. They were brought back just as we finished the garlic bread. People on next table said they too had mains arrive just as they finished starts. Throughout our visit staff were moving chairs and tables around like headless chickens. Whilst the food itself was good, we left feeling very rushed not the normal Spanish dining experience.
