Sadly Amani is no more. It’s been taken over by Oriental Slow boat and it’s just not the same. We went on Friday night and it was dead. This place is usually buzzing. The food, although the menu is very similar to what Amani used to serve, it’s not the same quality. Our party of 6 didn’t enjoy it at all. The egg fried rice used to be amazing, super fluffy and now it’s really poor. If like us you used to like this place, you will be disappointed if you go now. We’re on the hunt for the new Amani
Tried to visit yesterday about 8pm, but was shut, restaurant next door said it had been sold, would like to know if this is true ?
Well, first of all, I went to eat here with my family. Secondly, it was very expensive. There was hair in the food. Thirdly, there were cockroaches walking in the toilet and in the hallway. Just cockroaches. Very unfriendly people. They try to foist all sorts of things on you and then they come with a bill trying to get you to spend it. People took the shoes off. I wouldn't bring money here if you want to eat well, because the food is certainly not good. It is very dirty. But anyway, this is my opinion. I am just passing my opinion on to you
Food was good , but for wine drinkers there was only one nice wine on the menu gran vinasol, even if you wanted to try any others they were only sold by the bottle so solo wine drinkers need to avoid.
Would love to leave a review on the food etc but after standing in the entrance for 5 minutes or more and being completely ignored by waiters we decided our custom was not wanted. Strange experience as most restaurants in Costa Adeje try and drag you off the street into their premises. We found nearby restaurants were delighted to welcome us with open arms.
