We visited Lagarto prior to our drinks... read more Popped in for a drink after visiting the amazing Lagarto next door and booked a table for drinks only in our last night. We visited Lagarto prior to our drinks reservation at 10.30. My wife felt unwell and we were travelling early so we decided to go back to the hotel straight from the restaurant. My brother-in law was last to leave the restaurant and was popping in to apologise that we were not going to have a drink, but thanks for the lovely drinks the previous night. He didn’t get a chance to do that as the Bar Owner had noticed my sister and wife heading towards a taxi from the restaurant and took it upon herself to run to the taxi and start shouting at my sister for not going to the bar!!!! When my sister explained the circumstances the lady just kept shouting repeatedly that we should have called by 8pm. We didn’t know at that point was my sisters surprised reply. A crazy, bizarre ending to our holiday. Don’t attend this bar, rude Owner who needs to go on a customer services course!!

Only problem was tables are not separated enough in the present circumstances and with customers coming and going we had to move to facilitate their movements. We were also surprised to notice tables were not cleaned properly to the point that used table mats were left for newly arriving customers. No sign of any antivirus detergent to clean the tables and chairs. As I said a few adjustments will make all the difference.

She said that they were a bar and didn’t do food despite the fact that we had a light lunch on previous visits and it was advertised. Decided not to bother ever going back!!

Nice looking bar with a good drinks menu however the service was really poor, we stayed for a couple of drinks and service each time was terrible, really slow w... read more Nice looking bar with a good drinks menu however the service was really poor, we stayed for a couple of drinks and service each time was terrible, really slow with the owners seemingly more interested in chatting to friends/regulars and paying no attention to other tables. We had to go to the bar to get the bill because we were practically invisible.. shame but we won’t be visiting again.. go next door the service is much better

Lady owner was speedily attentive....and introduced me to a blonde sangria....never had that before, even though I have been visiting Spain and the Canaries for many years. A real treat, plenty of fruit...and a spoon to enjoy the alcohol infused berries. Could see some interesting looking tapas platters...(I am Coeliac and cant do such items. Enjoy on my behalf... When its just what was needed...a real treat. Thank you. Hope to see you again.
