Feedback
La Comida in Addison is a top pick for Mexican cuisine. From their extensive drink menu, including the highly recommended Mexican martinis, to their flavorful dishes like shrimps taco and brisket taco, diners are sure to be impressed. Service, while mostly excellent, had some hiccups which some reviewers were dissatisfied with. The restaurant's festive Christmas décor added to the overall dining experience. Despite a few minor complaints, La Comida's delicious food, great service, and cozy patio seating create a memorable dining experience that keeps guests coming back for more. This Mexican gem is definitely worth a visit.
This was our first time dining at this restaurant, but it definitely won't be our last. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. The chips and white queso were incredible, and the chimichanga was huge and delicious. The enchiladas were also terrific. The portions were so large that we will definitely share next time.
I would recommend this place to most people. Overall, the staff is pretty friendly and kind, except for the waiter we had. He never introduced himself to our table, didn't wait for our drink orders, and simply walked away. He only checked on us once, and as soon as our plates were almost empty, he brought out the check without asking if we needed anything else. Despite being there for food and drinks, we decided to go elsewhere for drinks after our meal due to this experience.
Average Mexican food and overpriced. The music was way too loud and while the wait staff was friendly once you don't order alcoholic drinks they are scarce to return to your table.
We love La Comida and come here frequently for lunch and dinner! The food is delicious; I especially love the enchiladas and the nachos. I always have to get a margarita when we are there, especially their signature, the flamingo! We also love the patiowhen the weather is nice. The employees and owners are all very nice and accommodating, the bathrooms are always clean. Highlyrecommend!
This place has gone down hill the last couple of years. The service staff is horrible. Bartenders are not good, and extremely slow. They do not remember things you ask for like fresh jalapanos. It's one thing to forget once, but they have forgotten 100% of the time. Like at least 12 times now. Most of the food is not good. Only good things are the chicken blancos nachos, andtheir pork shanks. Half the time i get the nachos and they are either cold, or burnt. To say the least there are way to manyother great options in town and they have lost my business.
