Every experience of dining in here has been greatThere is great value tooPersonally, this is the best BBQ I have had.
I feel like a mean girl giving Gyu-Kaku a 3 The décor is magically serene and the service was some of the best I'd had in Dallas..
I tried here several timesAt the begging of their business, I did not like itBecause of terrible serviceBut now their service got increased a lot.
This restaurant is closed. Open Table must be removed from the list.
Turned up on our reservation to find the restaurant was closed. Regular meal time Our reservation was made for days in advance ....
A new addition to the dining scene in Pleasanton, this restaurant offers a unique blend of Indian and Nepalese cuisine. While some have found the experience disappointing, including issues of incorrect orders and lack of empathy towards dietary restrictions, others have raved about the standout dishes like the vegetable momo and garlic naan. The menu offers a variety of options, with some praising the extensive all-you-can-eat menu. Overall, the restaurant seems to have a mixed reputation with some promising elements worth exploring.

Went with a couple of friends and we did the ultimate all you can eat for the table. We ate a lot, haha, more than I thought was possible and the value was superb with the amount of food we had ordered. Service was fast and attentive. Our waters were always full, multiple grill pan swaps and food came out timely and fresh. Minor complaint regarding noise. Seating was close together and the table next to us was loud entire conversation heard loud and clear on our side, so we kind of have to raise our voice so we can have our own conversation. It’s not atypical at places like this so it’s really not a big deal. All in all we had a great time. Looking forward to visit again.
Great food, soothing atmosphere moderately price. A great find
Everything's perfect but the store closes pretty early at 9pm
Great food as always. Sat our large party very quickly.
I recently dined at Gyu Kyu and had high hopes for a delightful evening, especially since we had made a reservation in advance. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations, leaving us frustrated and underwhelmed. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile but then promptly informed that, despite our reservation, we would need to wait an additional 30 minutes for our table to be ready. While I understand that delays can happen, a wait of that length with a reservation is quite disappointing. After finally being seated, we quickly noticed another issue: the restaurant provided us with only one menu for our party of five. This made it difficult to browse our options, let alone make a decision in a timely manner. As we finally settled in and tried to enjoy our meal, the service continued to be slow. Our server seemed overwhelmed and was often absent when we needed assistance. It took considerable time to place our orders, and even longer for our food to arrive. By the time our meals were served, we were already feeling frustrated and ready to move on rather than savor the food. While the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and the decor inviting, the lack of attention to service and the logistical missteps overshadowed any potential enjoyment. Dining out should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience, but our evening at Gyu Kyu felt more like a series of inconvenience. In summary, while the food may have potential, the experience was marred by poor service and a lack of organization. I hope this restaurant can address these issues, as it has the makings of a great place to dine. For now, I would recommend exploring other options until improvements are made.

Everything about this location is amazing. I live less than 3 miles away from the Plano location and the difference is astounding. This location has great service, great food, and I have not one bad thing I can honestly say. Every time I visit this location I leave extremely satisfied. I wish I could say the same about the Plano location however, it really gives Gyu-Kaku a bad name. I am thankful that this establishment has always exceeded my expectations and I plan to continue to do business with this one alone. I also recommend it to my followers. The food is always delicious and the service is unmatched. Thank you so much.

I loved coming here until they started cheapening some items. Like the Tuna Volcano on crispy rice use to be real raw tuna and now it’s canned tuna for the same price. Other than that, beef hanger steak is my favorite but it’s an up charge for lunch special. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
- **Meal type:** Dinner - **Price per person:** $50–100 - **Food:** 5/5 - **Service:** 4/5 - **Atmosphere:** 5/5 I highly recommend trying the S'mores, Fried Bacon Chips, and Garlic Fried Rice!

I had never tried Japanese BBQ before, so I attended the soft opening with my family. It’s quite similar to Korean BBQ, but the quality is noticeably superior. The atmosphere and overall experience were fantastic. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and incredibly helpful in explaining the menu, which made our dinner much more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.
This place is great! I love the 99-cent Sapporo beer on Mondays—good vibes all around!
Samuel was our server and I cannot stress enough how amazing he was! The food was excellent and combined with the superb service I am definitely going to recommend to friends.
Gyu-Kaku is our go-to, especially for festive occasions. Happy hour specials cannot be beat, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The menu is varied, the food is delicious, and preparing the meal is fun. Highly recommended!
I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised. It was a fun and trendy place. The service and food was awesome. Great place to introduce your friends to Japanese/Korean food.
