Really love the large sourdough have been buying it for a few years now and was delighted when they introduced the option to have it sliced. It is delicious when toasted tried some of the other loaves but def would put the sourdough as a firm favourite. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Bakery By Knife Fork:
They say there's no stabilisers or chemicals which is great, but when your bread arrives 3 days after its baked it could be used to beat someone to death. While, the flavour is good and I'm sure this might be nice fresh, ordering online is an expensive way to buy some breadlike rocks. View all feedback.
Ordered the taster pack which came with 6 different loaves, a great selection and sounded really promising but I ordered them on Sunday, they arrived on Friday and weighed a ton! So heavy and tasteless. Every single loaf tasted like sawdust and was absolutely dreadful. I sliced every loaf and it was like cutting through clay. I then tried a piece just with butter and another toasted. Most tasted better when toasted, which is a saving grace but still not great sadly. Won't be ordering again. £40 in the bin there!
There's a reason people put stabilisers in bread. These arrived 3 days after baking. Thanks for the expensive box of bricks.

Googled Knife Fork to order some more bread and came across these fairly brutal reviews. I have to say I’ve had the opposite experience and I’m really impressed with these loaves. I was diagnosed with coeliac disease in summer 2022 and went through a few super market gluten free breads which made me so thirsty for days and the list of ingredients was very long and a bit synthetic. In an attempt to find gluten free bread with minimal ingredients which don’t make me really thirsty I came across Knife Fork. I ordered the starter kit and so far have tried them all. The focaccia is particularly good and all the other loaves are great with soups, cheese on toast, with stews. Some of the loaves are small, which I get due to the ingredients they use and making them not collapse but the sour doughs you can get some good sized slices of for sandwiches etc. I sliced and froze my bread when it arrived and it’s easy to use, either heated up or toasted, as and when I need it and it tastes like proper bread! Thanks Knife Fork for creating coeliac friendly loaves. Really appreciate your work and I’ll be ordering some more soon. :
I write this review with some reluctance but I don't want another person to be as disappointed as I was. I received my first taster box a few days ago after waiting with much excitement. Website promises bread for sandwiches and great texture and taste to say I am disappointed is an understatement!! The box was very small and heavy, each loaf was like a house brick and very dry. Completely inedible. I should have put the £35 I paid towards a decent bread maker and made my own expensive lesson learned I suppose.
