Ordered at the counter, delivered to the table. The whole process was quite quick, and the portions were very generous. The taste wasn't bad either. We would come again.

This delightful café at the Adare Heritage Center is outstanding. The prices are fair, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. The food was tasty and served quickly. It’s a wonderful place to stop by, especially for visitors.

My family and I stopped at Dove Cote on our way back from Kerry. The menu offered a soup and sandwich combo for €8.95, but when I paid, I was charged an extra €2 for choosing the Club Sandwich. The soup was described as "Veg," but it only contained carrots. Its texture was like baby food—bland, unseasoned, and frankly unpleasant. To add to the frustration, the WiFi didn’t work, which I needed for work. This was especially irritating since nearby places like the public library and tourist info center also had no WiFi. Overall, this was an expensive and disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We had a family day out that was unfortunately marred by a disappointing lunch at this café. The soup arrived barely warm, and the staff seemed poorly trained regarding gluten-free options. I ordered the gluten-free club and confirmed that the chips weren’t gluten-free, but my plate came with chips touching the sandwich, contaminating it. The sandwich itself was rock hard and barely edible. Since I was with elderly family members, I didn’t want to complain at the time, but later they mentioned the soup was nearly cold. The managers or owners were very friendly and attentive at the front of the house, but they might benefit from paying more attention to the quality of the food being served. Not once was I asked if everything was okay.

The staff at Dove Cote were exceptional. Despite arriving later than planned and unaware that they were near closing time, we were warmly welcomed and promptly served. The scones were delightful, and at no point did they make us feel hurried or hint that closing time was approaching. We only learned they were about to close when our tour guide informed us. Their professionalism was impressive throughout!
