I joined some of my fav friends for Birthday celebration dinner on Fri evening in 1826 we all enjoyed an amazing meal from start to finish, superb! Service food are great, such a treat to have something like this in Co. Limerick.
Received the recommendation for this wonderful restaurant from the very helpful receptionist in The Woodlands Hotel during our trip down memory lane for our 12th wedding anniversary recently. Food service was excellent, not to mention the beauty of the building. Vegetarian tasting dish was out of this world, don't worry meat dishes looked great too. Crumble was the best ever. Owners were a delight to chat with, can't wait for our return visit when I'm not driving, lovely wine list!
Visited 1826 for a birthday dinner last night it was the best meal we've had during our 3 week trip to Ireland! Great food, great service, a lovely setting. I'd highly recommend it!

I was there with friends. I still can test the food. The soup was refined and bursting with flavours. It was like a very very good Bourgogne Clos Saint Denis'. Highly recommend to food there.
