Geko is a vegan restaurant through and through. The food tastes like it came from a fully vegan establishment, not just a place with a few token vegan options. While it may seem like a vegetarian spot that serves meat to cater to a wider audience, we found the food in Adana to be delicious and interesting. We enjoyed several mezes, içli köfte, mantı, and a strong glass of lemonade. The içli köfte and muhammara were standouts, although a couple dishes needed a bit more salt. We appreciated that they used real food like lentils and vegetables in their fillings, rather than fake ingredients like soy crumbles. The patio was a cool and welcoming oasis on a hot day in Adana. Our server was excellent, and any minor mistakes were handled gracefully. We felt right at home and can't wait to go back soon.

It is not just a regular restaurant with a few vegan options; it seems like a place that primarily serves vegan dishes but may offer meat to cater to a wider audience. Despite this, we found delicious and interesting food in Adana. We tried several mezes, stuffed grape leaves, Turkish dumplings, and a refreshing lemonade. Everything was tasty, but the standout dishes were the stuffed grape leaves and the muhammara. While some dishes could have used a bit more salt, it was easily remedied. I appreciated that they used real ingredients in their dishes instead of relying on imitation products. The terrace provided a cool and welcoming oasis on a hot day in Adana. Our server was excellent, and any minor mistakes were handled with grace. We felt right at home and would gladly return in the near future.
