Tacos El Don - Acworth

This restaurant serves the most amazing food! It's incredibly authentic and delicious. The staff were all very friendly, and the service was lightning fast. I will definitely be returning! If you're looking for truly great food with bold flavors, this is the place to go!

Update: 7/3/22 Some changes have occurred since my last visit—the salsa bar is no longer available. They removed it during COVID, and it seems to be gone for good, which I really miss. Also, the tacos are now significantly smaller. I would prefer to pay a bit more for a regular-sized taco rather than sticking to the original prices for these tiny portions. Even though the food is still delicious, it means I have to order more tacos to feel satisfied.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. You wouldn't expect it to offer the best and most authentic Mexican food, but it absolutely does. The prices are great, too. It's a cozy little spot in a strip mall. I've tried many Mexican restaurants, and this one is definitely the best! I can't recommend it enough; we're going there every week. There are always lines during peak hours, which really speaks to the quality of their food. It's clear they have many loyal customers!

This is our honey hole for tacos! We will plan family events around this Taco Square just to have an excuse to eat the amazing food here. Consistency is the key with regular joints and this place has it every time we go! We still have a meal here that doesn't want to come back immediately! Give it a try and I promise you, you will not be disappointed in food, prices or service. The actual restaurant is small and getting a table is difficult during heavy traffic so ready to take the food somewhere else.
