Mcgee's 72 - ACME
Mcgee's 72
Description
McGee's 72 boasts a modern and classy decor with pleasant views, yet opinions on the culinary offerings vary widely. While some patrons rave about the well-cooked steaks, succulent calamari, and delectable duck and waffles, others recount burnt ribs and uninspired dishes. Service experiences also fluctuate, with some servers demonstrating attentiveness while others leave customers feeling rushed or unwelcomed. High prices further complicate the impression, leading many to question whether the value meets expectations. Ultimately, McGee's 72 offers the promise of a satisfying meal, but inconsistent experiences may leave diners hesitant to return.

The veal meatloaf was quite good, but I wouldn't recommend the two large onion rings as a topping; they overshadow the meatloaf, which should truly be the star of the dish. On a positive note, the server was fantastic, and the tomato bisque was absolutely amazing!
The Sorellina salad is incredibly tasty; adding a piece of blackened salmon makes it even better!
Overall, I was disappointed with the food at this restaurant. The soup of the day was enjoyable, but my husband and I shared a rack of ribs that lacked flavor and were burnt on the outside. We had to add salt just to make them somewhat edible. The service was okay, with no major issues. However, based on the cost, I wouldn't return.
