The smoothies weren't really to my liking. Despite that, since it's one of the few vegan restaurants in Osu, I've visited a couple of times for some variety. I was hoping to try out some desserts, but they were unfortunately sold out.

I visited this place a few years ago when it was vegan, but they have since changed. The falafel wrap is still amazing.

Servi... read more Purple cafe is no longer all vegan. It now served meat, but still had several vegan options, including salads and wraps. It is located in the Roots hotel. Service was very friendly but also quite slow. I had the hummus wrap and added falafel to it. It was delicious with creamy hummus, falafel, and veg. The falafel definitely wasn’t traditional, but still good. Quite a large portion, too.

The food was freshly prepared an... read more I recently visited a lovely and inviting cafe within walking distance of Oxford Street. This cafe is a part of the Roots hotel. The food was freshly prepared and served quickly, and they have a wide variety of interesting non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. I ordered a falafel wrap, which was incredibly tasty. While it may be a bit more expensive compared to other places in Osu, I believe it is definitely worth the visit. It truly offers some of the best vegan food I have had in Ghana.
