From the moment w... read more We had the pleasure of staying at Voglauerhof for 5 nights, and I can confidently say it was an experience that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the owner, Dinko, and staff made us feel like family. His personalized attention to detail and unmatched hospitality truly set Voglauerhof apart from other accommodations. Dinko went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, attending to our every need with warmth and care whilst providing us with one of the larger rooms with a lovely terrace and a two roomed bedroom for both our teens. The culinary offerings at Voglauerhof were nothing short of delightful. Each meal was abundant and beautifully prepared, showcasing local flavours and fresh ingredients. Dining here felt like a special cosy occasion every evening whilst accompanied by great Austrian super chilled beer and a lovely garden in which to breath some fresh air. Breakfasts were also tailour made to tend to our dietary needs, which included lots of special surprise treats. The location of Voglauerhof is simply wonderful. Surrounded by breathtaking nature, the views from the hill above behind the hotel were nothing short of sensational. All whilst being not too far off from magical places such as Hallstatt. The peaceful and serene environment allowed us to truly unwind and escape from the hustle of daily life. It’s the perfect retreat for anyone looking to recharge in a beautiful setting. For those interested in skiing, we found it incredibly convenient that there are several ski resorts nearby, with a regular bus service to take us there effortlessly. Additionally, a charming small town is just a short distance away, providing us with opportunities to explore and enjoy local culture. The accomodation was equally delightful, with comfortable rooms that were impeccably clean. Not to mention that the property is incredibly pet friendly and our little dog was given equal importance as with us. Also having a little bed provided for her was a very sweet touch. Although there are some works that still might need to be carried out to bring out the full potential, the property makes up for it in very good value and personalised touch. It was great honour to get to know Dinko and understand his visions, all the hard work and determination he puts in to his business. Something am not used to getting in other larger perhaps prominent hotels. He is there to make things right, even if perhaps, at times there might be the occasional hiccup, which is perfectly normal in every day to day life. As I plan on returning often I look forward to witnessing the unfolding and manifesting of his ambitions . Overall, our experience at Voglauerhof was extraordinary, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a peaceful, value for money getaway nestled in nature with exceptional hospitality and delicious food, Voglauerhof is the place to be and Dinko is your man.
