Was Thawdar K at Mi Lit a mag?
The restaurant is under new ownership! With Ma Hnin gone, we won’t be able to enjoy her dishes anymore. However, the new owners are putting in a lot of effort. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area! View all feedback.

What William E dislikes about Mi Lit:
I also ordered a shrimp curry, and unfortunately, the shrimp weren't peeled. This made it quite messy, as my hands got sticky and the shrimp were both hot and very slippery. I even dropped one on the floor because it slipped out of my grip. I’ve had enough! View all feedback.

The exterior and interior aren’t anything to write home about, and the parking lot could use some attention. The service was adequate; the staff made an effort, but it wasn't outstanding. The real star here is definitely the food. We shared samosas, Burmese noodles, and Burmese coconut chicken soup. While the samosas weren’t particularly remarkable, they were served hot. The main dishes, however, were fantastic! The noodles came with an incredible peanut sauce that I'm still dreaming about, and the coconut milk-based soup was rich and hearty, packed with chicken, noodles, and generous amounts of cilantro. The prices were amazing—only $28 to feed the two of us, including an appetizer. If you’re in the area, you definitely need to stop by this place!

The first time I came here was February 2022 as a friend introduced me to their menu. There was a little difference with service as I gotten to try a different restaurant. I tried their fried rice and other sides as a courtesy. I am here again and tried their chicken nuggets. The people were friendly but hard to understand their language. It would be a good atmosphere to see what this restaurant will become in the near future.

What we did not like the most about this place is that they do not peel the shrimp. The shrimp egg roll has an unpeeled shrimp in it. Their Curries with shrimp are also unpeeled. The curry comes out very hot and peeling very hot wet shrimp is not fun.We also did not like eggplant in our curries. It was not cut bite size, and was just and overall miss for the dish. Green or red peppers would have been better. The curry flavors were good. The Panaga curry was even more tasty then the Gang Keaw Wan curry.Had the shrimp been peeled I would have at least gave this place three stars.
