After helping our daughter move late into the night, we found that few places were still open, but Whataburger came to the rescue. We ordered their avocado bacon toast burger along with onion rings, and I must say, as a fan of all things avocado, I was not disappointed. What I really appreciate about Whataburger is their commitment to making your meal just the way you like it. They even offer a keto or low-carb option without the bun, substituting with large pieces of lettuce or extra shredded lettuce if available. If you're looking for fast food, Whataburger is definitely a Texas favorite!

I was surprised by how bus... read more I stopped by Whataburger for a late lunch on a Thursday around 2:30 PM. The staff were friendly and greeted everyone as they entered. I was surprised by how busy it was, but the team operated smoothly and efficiently. Our food arrived quickly and exactly as ordered. My partner and I found nothing negative about this location during our visit. We would definitely stop here again if we return to the Air Force Base.

On Thursday night around 7pm, we waited in the drive-thru behind about five cars for 40 minutes. To make matters worse, when we got home, we realized they forgot to include our order of onion rings. Overall, a terrible experience at this location.

After a total... read more We waited an additional fifteen minutes and noticed several employees in the back on their phones or chatting, yet our food still hadn’t arrived. After a total of over thirty-five minutes, my order finally came, but it was incorrect. I requested it be made correctly, only to be informed that it would take another 15 to 20 minutes. Frustrated, I asked for a refund, but the staff member was unable to process it and offered instead a note for a free sandwich on my next visit. I also ordered French fries for my wife and waited another fifteen minutes before checking on them. The employee then handed me fries that were clearly old and had been sitting under the heat lamp the whole time. Throughout this experience, it was difficult to find staff, and only one person seemed to be working in the kitchen while the manager frequently came in and out of the office. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

The staff were very polite and friendly, creating a positive atmosphere among the employees. The dining area was clean, although they were out of coffee. While the chicken biscuit wasn't as delicious as ones I've had at other chains, it was still quite good.
