You should go this week check it out for yourself. For me the atmosphere is perfect. For perspective I’m in my 70’s walking into the front door is like stepping back into my childhood. Over breakfast my grandson I review yesterday earlier. Then like Pinky the Brain, we plot and plan today while enjoying our wonderful breakfast. Oh! You won’t find better pancakes. Except of course your mom’s pancakes. Mom’s cooking is always the standard. : Clearly I could write on this subject all day. Come try it for yourself. Bring your kids, or your grandkids make some memories. Be careful. It is habit forming. Enjoy. :

Our waiter was very friendly, with great service from her side, but on the food side, well, the food was bland. I was really looking forward to enjoying The Texas Benedict,but unfortunately, it did not deliver. The hollandaise sauce was lacking salt and flavor. The tomato created a very soggy texture on the base of the English muffin. I'll maybe try the omlette next time.

I tried a large meal called Texas Trash, which piqued my interest, and I ordered it with a side of buttered grits. I would rate the meal a solid 7/10. It wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t anything spectacular. This was my first visit to this location, and I noticed that the women’s restroom only has two stalls, so you might have to wait there as well. I'm 5'9" and weigh 223 lbs, so if you're around my size, I recommend using the handicap stall; turning around in the smaller one is a challenge. I stubbed my toe just trying to exit the cramped stall! By the way, I recently turned 47 and tend to run warm, but the bathrooms don’t have much air conditioning either. Will I return to the Flipping Egg? Sure, but it won’t be anytime soon.
