Texas Roadhouse - Abilene

Texas Roadhouse has wonderful food and service. My family took me here for Mother's Day and naturally there was a very long wait since it was a holiday. While waiting, it allowed us to watch how they make their amazing homemade rolls. They have a case of raw steaks and let you select your own steak by labeling it and cook it to perfection. I ordered Prime Rib which I have to admit was overcooked and very dry. I have never sent back a steak so I reluctantly told the waiter who called his manager. She agreed right away and they brought me back the most amazing Prime Rib with horseradish sauce and I was one happy camper. Everyone one of us enjoyed our steaks and were very happy with the food and service. Highly recommend eating here when in Abilene.

Best meal I have had in a very long time! Ribs were the best I've ever eaten. Service was great. Prices were reasonable. The only reason I didn't rate as five stars is the ambient noise. The crowd noise plus the music are not conducive to a pleasant dinner.

For a group of 7, we were seated quickly. Staff members were courteous and polite. One staff member who was off duty, stayed and took our drink orders and made sure we were taken care of by a new staff member before she went home. Great atmosphere and Great food!

Came here for our anniversary. A great ribeye on the bone and we were able to pick it out ourselves. Fun and yum! Update.. Decided to try the sirloin out today.. Delicious!

By far one of the better chain Steak Houses to eat at. This one had great service, friendly host, and the food was perfect. Food comparison with price has always been on par with anything else.... the only exception.... I have never had a bad meal at any one of the TX Roadhouse establishments. Head there anytime after 5:30 and you might wait a little while!! Good luck and enjoy!!
