One of the best burger joints I've ever been to. The burger patties are a little small but we're cooked perfect, well done but still juicy. The fries were awesome, crisp on the outside, but not dry on the inside and they were seasoned but not over seasoned. Not to mention, the combo comes with a small ice cream cup. I have lived in Abilene quite a while now and kinda regret not trying Rick and Carolyn's sooner. View all feedback.

Food average, even their burgers. Overpriced for what you get.
Made a special trip here, twice. Last time they closed the doors all day for a plumbing repair. Not smart. 2nd trip, Rick and Carolyn are NOT present. Curious what “steak fingers” are, I asked to buy just those. “NO!” said the worker bee, “$15 with fries, toast and gravy”. Huh? Turns out it’s just three SMALL pieces of chicken-fried steak (garbage beef, hammered to death, coated with flour and fried). What a disappointment. Giving them the finger!
I had a great lunch at Rick and Carolyn's the food was delicious
