Description

Mian Bistro stands out as a fresh, flavorful gem for Asian cuisine in Abilene, offering generous portions at reasonable prices. Their pho and ramen receive high praise for rich broths and expertly cooked noodles, providing a satisfying experience even for first-timers. Signature dishes like sesame and orange chicken, spicy noodle soup, and house-made potstickers consistently delight customers with balanced flavors and home-style appeal. While the atmosphere is clean and quiet, some find the lack of menu visuals challenging, though helpful staff make ordering easy. This place is really great! I tried the sweet and spicy fish, cheese wontons, and a passion fruit green tea with brown sugar boba. The fish was fantastic—hot and fresh, and it reminded me of one of my favorite restaurants back in California. The cheese wontons were crispy, but I found the filling to be a bit lacking, and the sweet and sour sauce was pretty standard. The passion fruit green tea was decent, but the boba surprised me; it was more like crystal boba and had a slight sweetness to it. Overall, it was a good meal!

The food is decent, but I've had better pho in the past. However, I absolutely love their Thai tea, and the staff is wonderful. Overall, I'd rate it: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

Every visit is a delight! The summer special was packed with fresh, crisp vegetables. My kids adore the steak fried rice. I highly recommend this place!

The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly. It gave me a vibe similar to the clean, minimalist Asian restaurants found on the West Coast. It seems they primarily cater to diners on the go, as you order at the counter and your meal is served in plastic to-go containers. However, they do have about a dozen tables available for dining in. Regardless, the food was truly delicious. I tried the beef and noodle summer special, and I asked for it to be somewhat spicy, which was just as I received it. The ingredients tasted fresh. If you're in the mood for a quality, no-frills Asian meal, this place is a great choice.
