McDonald's - Abilene
McDonald's
Description
Recent visits to a local McDonald's have yielded mixed impressions among guests. While some diners appreciated the friendly and attentive staff, particularly during busy breakfast hours, many reported frustratingly slow service and incomplete orders. Complaints about cold food and poor communication at the drive-through counter were common. Despite these issues, some patrons enjoyed the quality of their meals and noted the cleanliness of the facilities. The reliance on self-order kiosks and mobile apps contributed to a sense of disconnection, with several customers expressing dissatisfaction over the overall service experience. As a result, this McDonald's continues to reflect the challenges facing the brand.

They do not have condiments available. Nor do they have ice that you can access. You have to ask employees to get those things for you. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Sausage Mcmuffin
Terrible customer service. Waited 8 minutes in the drive through, not a word was said to us. We parked on the side and went inside, and then had to wait another 10 minutes inside for them to take our order in there. There were plenty of staff and barely any customers, so not sure what the problem is there. As soon as we walked back out, a couple cars were served immediately in the drive through. We were very respectful and didn’t say anything to them about it, but seriously this is very rude and annoying, nobody even stopped to say “we will get to you in a minute”. There was only one nice lady there with black hair and glasses, pretty young- get her a raise.
This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever visited. I live in Abilene and for some reason I keep coming back. I should just break down and drive to Salina, and order from there. On my most recent visit, I placed an order thru the app with curbside pickup. I arrived, and entered the parking spot number, and waited. And waited, and waited. I watched as car after car was handed their food at the window. After about 15 minutes waiting, I told them I've been waiting, and they asked what my order was. I showed them as I waited more for them to make it. I leave and get home, only to find old fries and old nuggets. I couldn't eat them so i fed them to my dogs. The owner doesn't care, so why should the management and crew.
