Came here for food, absolutely delicious! Great variety on menu. Very friendly and welcoming staff, I was well looked after. If I’m ever in Aberdour again, I am sure to be back! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 View all feedback.
What Mary Barron doesn't like about Aberdour Stables Rooms:
Spent a couple of nights here after having read some of the reviews. It’s an old hotel and badly need’s refurbished. The room was basic, beds were comfortable enough but the room was extremely cold, may just have been that a radiator in the room wasn’t working. Not good for our October weather. The food was good but not exceptional. The location was good for visiting other towns in Fife and would be great in the summ... View all feedback.
Have to say staff and service top class , was suprise to see it's only 3 star . So underrated more 4 and a half star if anything . Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
We never stayed in the hotel as we were day walker from Edinburgh. We walked from North Queens ferry to Aberdour. We had a lovely lunch special, which the staff served well. It was great value for money, and the chips and onion rings were excellent. Service: 5 Location: 5
This was a very cute place to stay in a gorgeous little town outside of Edinburgh. The location of the inn was fabulous. At first we thought the bed was overly firm, but we ended up sleeping really great on it. Breakfast was good, and the people there are very friendly and accommodating. Overall it was a great stay and we'd stay there again if we visit in the future. Rooms: 5
We really enjoyed our stay at The Aberdour Hotel it was a cold day and we appreciated our room upgrade to a room with a cosy fire in it, the room was huge and it was a good comfortable bed. The staff were all exceptional and the food was delicious including our perfect poached eggs for breakfast. I would definitely recommend a visit here. I know we would love to return . If I could rate this hotel 11/10 I would. Rooms: Our room was a free upgrade and was beautiful with the lovely fire on the wall which made the room nice and cosy as it was a cold November day. Huge comfy bed too. Food drinks: There was a good choice of food on the menu, we were on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal so that gave us £20 towards our meal each and if we went above that we pay the extra which did overspend but only by a few pounds as my husband had the venison which was about £22 but it was well worth. Portions were very generous.
Warm and comfortable accommodation with good dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value
