Approaching 5p.m., the shop was very busy, but the staff seemed to have a very good system in place . The fish was very fresh with crisp batter. The chips were also very good. No sign of the ‘grease’ mentioned in another review. And I don’t understand people saying it’s expensive. The fish is the freshest haddock, not the cod you get in Englandshire. View all feedback.

Fantastic fish sauce. one of the most delicate fish pieces I've had for a long time.
Phantastic chippy. crispy, buttery fresh inkfish. friendly service, eating quickly made. also the pizza was good
Never had a bad meal from here. Can be busy so aye phone in advance.
Great fish suppers from Hook line and sinker last night. Even better eating them down at Portsoy beach. What more could you ask for. Excellent, nicely cooked and well worth a visit for one of the best fish and chips taken away in the North East of Scotland..
Small portions, chips were ok, haggis would have been tasteless if not for the batter. Very disappointing compared to previous visits.
