Zulus Peri Peri - Aberdeen

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at Zulus, especially with the peri peri competition going on in Aberdeen. Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing. The chicken was extremely dry—not just grilled dry, but as if it had been left in the oven for too long or even overnight. It had a rubbery texture that made it hard to enjoy. The chips were also subpar, and the entire meal felt like it had been reheated from the previous night’s leftovers. I really encourage you to consider ways to improve. Places like Pepes and Mameas set a great standard; perhaps you could take inspiration from them.

One of the best takeaway options in Aberdeen. The prices are unbeatable, and the food quality is excellent. Plus, the delivery is very fast.

I tried their Peri Peri Pizza, and to my surprise, it was even better than the other options available in the city. The flavor was fantastic, and the service was excellent. I will definitely return!

The food arrived quicker than expected, but unfortunately, the rest of the service was disappointing. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but I feel it's necessary this time. I ordered the grill box, but none of my delivery instructions were followed. I wouldn't recommend this place. On top of that, I only received one drink when the order clearly stated it should come with two. There was also no option to choose the level of peri-peri spice.

The only slight downside was that there was a bit too much BBQ sauce on my meal. Other than that, the place is clean and has seating for about 10 to 15 people. The staff were very hospitable.
