The music selection was great, but the volume was too high, making it hard to have a conversation. The pizza could use more seasoning and the sauce was slightly too sweet, but the cold, local beer was a highlight. This place has the potential to be a great addition to the Aberdeen pizza scene, which is currently lacking. Bonus points for the famous quotes displayed on the wall at the entrance.

The friendly staff provided excellent service during our meal. However, the food was a letdown. While the menu descriptions of the pizzas sounded promising, the toppings were overly sweet and lacked focus on the basics such as the dough and cheese. The bruschetta was topped with average tomatoes and pesto, missing out on creating a rich and simple flavor. The nachos with salsa were topped with cheese, resulting in a crispy cheese crust but soggy tortilla chips. We had to return the first bottle of wine we ordered as it was sour and fizzy, but the staff promptly exchanged it and apologized. In conclusion, the staff and concept of the restaurant are great, but the food is mediocre. They will need to step up their game in order to stay competitive in the current market.
