The food was outstanding! We will definitely return. It's truly a hidden gem!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was very pleased with the experience. The food truly reflects authentic Indian cuisine (with the right level of spiciness, proper samosas made with the right pastry, fantastic light and flavorful biryani, and a well-prepared vindaloo that has the perfect touch of bitterness). We tried the chili flower starter, which was new to us, and it was outstanding! Unlike some city center Indian restaurants that have gone for a fusion and sweetened approach, this place serves genuine Indian food. I will definitely be back.

While it is on the higher end of the price range in the city, the quality of the lamb rogan was excellent.

Standard of food was excellent, especially the garlic naan!

We went for a family meal to celebrate a special event. We have eaten here several times before and were always impressed with the quality of the food. On this occasion we were eating late in the evening due to other commitments. Some of the food was disappointing. I ordered the lamb tikka biryani. When it arrived, it was clearly chicken not lamb! The rice was very dry and it came with a spicy sauce rather than a vegetable curry. I ate about a third of it. One of the other meals was not particularly inspiring and did not match the promised description. The service was very good, although we did feel the staff were waiting for us to finish as we were the last customers there. In all, we have been a little put off returning to what was one of our favourite places to eat and I am not sure we could recommend it to others despite having done so in the past.
