I arrived here only 20 minutes before closing and still got really nice service which is one of the most important reasons to give it all stars. Food was delicious..just like home..and ordered just one chapatti but it was so smooth and tender...so I had to order another... taste of everything I ordered was really good and yes the restaurant was also very clean and tidy up...

I had a meal here last week and it was outstanding! The service was excellent from beginning to end. The starters were perfectly portioned, and the mixed pakora was absolutely delicious. The main course menu is extensive, offering something for everyone. I chose the Dhansak, which was incredibly flavorful. Don’t forget to try the poppadoms and naan bread! I highly recommend this restaurant. I returned a few years later, and it’s still just as good. Excellent and highly recommended!

Among the many Indian restaurants in the city, Shahbaaz stands out as one of the best. The quality of both the service and the food is exceptional. With affordable prices and a pleasant atmosphere, it's a fantastic choice for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. I highly recommend it!

Ok first off, I have never seen a garlic and chilli naan quite as big as the one we were presented with. So if you’re hungry, this is the place to be. Having not visited Shahbaaz before we decided to opt for a few different dishes that were highlighted to us by our server on the night. The food was outstanding and genuinely I couldn’t fault it (apart from one or two elements of the mixed starter being slightly over cooked). The only thing and it’s a very minor thing that let this place down for me was the lack of atmosphere. However, we did dine in on a Tuesday night, so to can imagine the weekend would be much busier and buzzing with chatter. All in all a fantastic restaurant in the heart of Aberdeen.
