Figment Café in Aberdeen offers a bright, spacious setting with a fresh, modern vibe perfect for both casual dining and takeaway. Found via the Independent Coffee Guide and glad I did. Very good balanced house espresso. Worth a visit alone for it. Also had brunch which was very tasty. Went for the duck confit hash which was flavourful and a good serving. Will be back without a doubt. I hear the Friday evenings are great for cocktails!
Figment is my favorite café in Aberdeen. Whenever I'm up visiting family, I always try to stop there for a coffee. They always have an interesting single origin for the coffee nerds and their house blend is great too. They also have a fantastic selection of food, both sweet and savoury, and their staff are always super friendly and welcoming.
I visited Figment for the first time today for coffee and cake with some friends. The black Americano I ordered was delightful, and I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan bounty cake. They had a pleasantly unique selection of cakes, including butternut squash and orange, as well as one featuring parsnips. The scones looked enticing, and two of my friends praised the brownie. The café has a fresh and modern atmosphere. Overall, a big thumbs up to Figment!
Discovered Figment just before lockdown, so until today have only had the odd take away coffee (which is really good). Today however we decided to sit in and have some lunch... We were lucky because we pretty much got the last table. Ordered at the counter and drinks came swiftly, the food took a little longer but still in good time. The food was lovely! We all had something different and I can't fault any of it... There's always the danger when you do something a little different that you can miss the mark... Figment definitely didn't miss the mark! Can't wait to go back.
Never have a bad experience here. Food is always incredible and the menu changes with the seasons, home of the best cinnamon buns in Aberdeen (trust me, I’ve tried most of them), and there’s a great selection of drinks all in a friendly, welcoming cafe style setting.
