I'm not a whisky drinker but the other 3 in my party were. It's a really lovely place, nice atmosphere very nice staff. My only request would be to have a few wine glasses kicking about. Drinking wine from a Gin Goblet felt a little weird. View all feedback.
What Bruce Wood doesn't like about Casc:
Terrible experience. A friend and I entered the bar and bought a drink. After finishing said drink we both bought a cigar for the journey home. After buying the cigars we were then told they did not want to serve us. So my money was good enough for them to take, but they certainly didn't want us hanging around their cliquey crowd. Was totally disgusted by this treatment. View all feedback.
Really nice little bar. A little hidden down in the basement. They had a good choice of Whisky available and the bartender knows her bottle 's Happy to see that they have Whisky in all price ranges. I was lucky enough to have a glass of one of my favourites, the Octomore
Excellent location with the right atmosphere. The Granite City offer many watering holes but I believe CASC easily climbs towards the very top of the list of great pubs. Basement location with outside seating available. Plenty of beer on tap, excellent whisky selection of various types and variations and cozy humidator with a very good cigar selection. I was there only by myself but I imagine bringing some friends will make for a great night out.
Knowledgeable and very friendly staff made our visit a pleasure. The manager helped with all our purchases (scotch, coffee, cigars) with patience and a sense of humor. Great selection and wonderful service. Highly recommended the siphon coffee!
Brilliant bar. Loads of awesome ales. Hundreds of awesome whiskys and brilliant staff. If you smoke they also have what a dedicated temperature controlled and dehumidified cigar room.
MMM Yammy super choice of whiskey and sugars. Mondays whiskey tasting club
