Was just in town picking up an item from a market place deal. Ran across this spot and man I’m glad I stopped. This is a classic old school bbq joint. They were BUSY with people in and out picking up call in orders but they was friendly and took my order. They were out of ribs so I got the rib tip plate. It was dang good! I've only been here a few times, but both of my visits were enjoyable. The food was excellent overall. The pulled pork was particularly delicious, but there were quite a few tough, dry bits mixed in with the fresh meat, which could have been from a previous day's cooking. Additionally, the portion sizes felt a bit small given the price. View all feedback.
The food is outstanding! I absolutely love the rib tips, and I highly recommend the pulled pork as well!
My one and only visit here was truly disappointing. The pulled pork had an excessive amount of chewy, leftover meat in it, and it just wasn't good.
I've visited this restaurant a couple of times, and each time the food has been delicious. However, while the pulled pork was tasty, there were too many tough, dry pieces mixed in with the fresh meat, as if they had been overcooked or were leftovers from the previous day. Additionally, I found the portion sizes to be small for the price.
