Was Taramaya Spiers at Arkivet a mag?
We came to Alesand for a long weekend and had heard good things about this bar. But my expectations were exceeded! Not only is Vilda a warm and engaging host but her ability to read you and know exactly what cocktail to make is like some kind of magic witchery! Highly recommended. Wish it was my local Maya! Big disappointment, the bar is being advertised on Google as open every day until 02:00. We have walked a very long way to enjoy a drink and the place was closed. This should be fixed, but since I did not try any drinks there I will remove the review with 1 star later. Big diaappointment anyway. View all feedback.

Intimate and pleasant bar with a usable selection of beer in bottles/cans. Also 2-3 on tap. Mixing drinks for those who prefer it.
Great menu drinks and the bartender will custom make you something that will surprise and delight! Wish we could go back again.
Ask for a surprise from the bartenders. They are clever, experimental and an experience in just hearing what they make. Set aside time for at least a couple of drinks either before a dinner, after or as a place to chat/date. A quiet place. The bar often closes at 12, but let them know you're coming and they'll stay open
