We stayed Friday bar with work and got all their monthly deals where you were allowed to taste 3 of their special beer and got 3 delicious small portions. Their food is really delicious and we went all away happy and sat in good mood. I've visited again and got an evening menu for gastro week with 9 servings. What Eline Kruse doesn't like about Malt:
Food is decent, the location is in an old beer cellar, which means the acoustics are terrible, the noise is very loud. Despite priding themselves of the history of the beer cellar and on serving Craft beer my pilsner was served in inappropriate glassware. View all feedback.
We were 7 to board this Wednesday evening, where the restaurant was about half full. The servant was quick to get us in place/injures us to the concept. But there went too long before he came again, so we could order bubble water to begin with. After a talk with the waiter, if 7 dishes could fill the hungry young people, we chose the 7 dishes. Three starters quickly and were all delicious. Everything was eaten, including sourdough bread with butter with chicken skin. The three main dishes were more doubtful: 1. A piece of denial. 2. A hazelnut potato. 3. Cauliflower. The main dish with these three servings tastes well, but there was no food enough. We talked about how the nearest sausage was. Well, the dessert was also very delicious. Overall a nice evening in good company, but more went hungry from the table. Therefore only three stars.
I had a great experience at Restaurant Malt in Aarhus! From start to finish, it was a true pleasure to visit this restaurant that is perfect for social dining and beer tasting. The restaurant offers an exciting and well prepared food experience that makes it one of the best restaurants in Aarhus. I’ve been here a couple of times and I’ve been happy and sat away every time with a new experience in the luggage. 5 stars!

Vi blev mødt af en hyggelig stemning med dæmpet musik. Maden der blev serveret var veltilberedt og krydret helt perfekt, der er en årsag til, at der ikke står salt og peber på bordet. Virkelig behagelig betjening. Alt i alt en skøn oplevelse, der bestemt er et besøg hver igen.
Fantastic dining experience! It was our first time here and we had the week day dinner menu. Absolutely fantastic. There was a small snack to start off with, we had shrimp on asparagus for starters, white fish with potatoes, peas, and sauce, and a delightful dessert. The service was just right, informational with a smile, and attentive to drinks. We will definitely be back and probably have the 8 course menu which looked amazing.
