What User doesn't like about Gaijin Ramen:
The staff is lovely and the food is generally delicious. However, I was disappointed to find that my pricey vegan ramen was missing some of the ingredients listed on the menu and did not have the expected flavor. View all feedback.
This is perhaps the only Ramen restaurant in Aarhus (if there is another one, I have not discovered). It is almost always full and people are sharing tables and windows. Eventually we got a chance to get place for two people, and enjoyed their two different ramen bases excellent, excellent, except that the meat was served as shredded pulled type fibres in the soup it will be much better to have a bit thicker pieces than the shredded ones. Crisp fried shrimps and the rolls were fantastic. If you dont want any alcoholic drinks, then a big jar of fresh tap water with lemon pieces is available free of charge. Over all, we felt very nice and relaxed in the atmosphere and with the smiling service full grades.
Still a great place. The kimchi ramen was spicy, but too much. The home-made ice tea with Japanese whisky was splendid.
Went here with my boyfriend to eat some early dinner. He already went here a couple of times. Cosy atmosphere, nice staff, very relaxed place. Some people came in for a snack, some for dinner, some for drinks; everything is possible. The food was really good. They have some vegan options as well. I recommend!
Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, a few tables and counter dining. Few menu items but all well made. I had the Shoyu ramen which was savory and delicious and the fried shrimps which were perfect. All washed down with cold Japanese beer. Would recommend to everyone who crave Japanese food (not sushi) in Aarhus.
