Blessed bra location on a residualurant, but poor mat. We ordered lens soup, entrecot and chicken. Only the chicken which was eating and looked like ok but dry. No mac on the hallway or sausen to and the lens soup crumble paper. Just amazing. the experience we had in a was invaluable, the staff went beyond and beyond to have a nice experience, the eating was delicious with a Scandinavian whirlpool that were amazing and the overall experience was recommended by such a great value for the money.
It was one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been. I wouldn't say it's overpriced, so don't be shy, even if they have a limited budget. the view is great; the architecture is excellent; the kitchen is recommended; the service is very good. to get there, they must have a cable car (the entrance is near the ferry).
My first visit and I can only recommend having a meal, everything was delicious. with good weather (what I had luck) and especially at sunset I cannot be happier! when it comes to eating, everything is from the farm and they support local products until I got the information from one of the waiters. only a minus, was that they had no wodka, so we couldn't get any drinks we wanted.
We were six children and six adults together. The planning and communication was ok and they kept to the arrangements we made and still allowed for us to make some last minute changes. They recommended smash burger for the children, it was therefore somewhat surprising that the burgers were raw in the middle. We didn 't get any bread and butter before we were served. The food was good, nothing special. One of us had the cheese platter thinking that in the land of Tingvoll he would be served the world best cheese 'kraftkar '. He didn 't, and that is ok, however they didn 't tell what kind of cheese that was served. On the platter it was also meat, which wasn 't on the meny, so not a vegetarian option. They changed the flat soda with out difficulties. The view was of course spectacular, however you can enjoy the view without eating in the restaurant or cafe.
The gondola ride in restaurant eien exceeded my expectations. the gondola ride offers everyone the opportunity to reach the mountain. the view from the upper railway station restaurant is incredible and so was the staff that eat. in any case will be back to åndalsnes to explore the stunning opposite.
