I chose the Christmas special, sauerbraten with dumplings and red cabbage, as my trip to Aachen was practically my Christmas outing. Absolutely delicious and fairly priced! I highly recommend it.

The ambiance is also quite nice with the plants and windows, but it's a bit cold. They could try to do something about the draft from the door in winter. If you sit near it, it gets quite chilly when there's a lot of going in and out. The staff is super friendly. The basic concept of the place is also great, especially the free tap water and the donation option. So, all in all, a fantastic place!
