Tokyo Tavern is hands-down the best Sushi Restaraunt in Dutchess County…and maybe even the entire Hudson Valley. I lived in Manhattan for 20 years, and I can say with confidence that Tokyo Tavern bests 95% of the sushi restaurants in NYC. What Jennifer H doesn't like about Tokyo Tavern:
The food was just ok: chicken teriyaki a bit tough; fried rice bland; prices just ok. What was troubling early in Feb'22 was that only the waitresses wore masks. Customer standing to order at the counter 2 men working the sushi counter did not. View all feedback.

A nice restaurant in a well-decorated home and generous portion sizes. The service was good and the food was good.
Just an overall great place with delicious food and wonderful service. New favorite spot for sushi.
