Was Maria O at Monaghan's Irish a mag?
This has been one of my favorite restaurants since it opened. Even though we moved away in 2012, we’ve visited twice a year when we come up north. However, during my visit yesterday, I was really looking forward to having their 'delicious' French onion soup and was incredibly disappointed. I asked the waitress why it tasted so bland. My son ordered the Irish Stew and I chose the wings, but I was let down once again.... View all feedback.

I find the food here to be average. I wasn't a fan of my potato pancake, as it was too deeply fried for my liking. The prices are reasonable, and the service was good. However, I likely won’t return because I was not particularly impressed with the food. View all feedback.

Always a warm greeting from the owner, waiters and bus help. The food is wonderful also. Our go to restaurant.

Food, Drink, Staff, Atmosphere all first class. If you visit Rockville Centre get yourself to Monaghan's.

Delicious chicken pot pie. Even better steak with gorgonzola. Perfect Irish (American! cool, dark pub environment with an astonishing draught beer selection and delicious desserts, with outstanding service.
