Was M&M T at Dancing Bears a mag?
Great service and delicious food! I ordered a wrap, my husband got a burger, and the kids chose items from the kids' menu. Unfortunately, there were no prices listed, and if we had asked beforehand, I would have opted for a flatbread or something for them to share. Each kids’ meal cost $14, which included a hot dog, fries, applesauce, and a drink. My Mediterranean wrap was $16. I believe a kids’ meal and an adult mea... View all feedback.
What Darlene H dislikes about Dancing Bears:
I called a week before our visit to Lake Placid to inquire about a reservation for our group of eight, as we were celebrating my son's 50th birthday. I was informed that they do not take reservations. While I accepted that, I asked for their recommendation to avoid a long wait. They suggested we arrive at 5:00 PM. On the night of the celebration, we got there at 5:00 PM, only to be told there would be a 45-minute wai... View all feedback.
An ideal brunch spot with a view in the downtown strip of Lake Placid. Well crafted meals to suite anyone’s taste. My boyfriend enjoyed the breakfast pizza thoroughly for its big portion and quality ingredients. I cleaned my plate of avocado toast and eggs. All very satisfying and with great big cups of coffee to boot. Would happily return.
Food and beverage manager rude and obnoxious. Quality of the food was poor and very underwhelming. Manager believed the service charge had to paid in full when expectations as a paying customer weren’t met on various occasions throughout the meal.
Came at 11:30, nobody in the restaurant but the servers stand around and look at you. Waited for 15—20 minutes and nobody ever came over to serve us. People came in behind us and they got served right away. Extremely rude and very disappointing. If you don’t want to serve at least act busy and don’t stand around staring at waiting customers. Don’t worry we went across the street instead and we’re greeted immediately. Great service at Sports Bar and Grill!
