We’ve been waiting for 1 hr for our food. The table next to us was served, ate bc has to go boxes.
Fish was not beer battered. Very thin. Mostly over cooked batter. I could not eat it. Tryied to take off the coatings and almost no fish. Coslaw was bland. Calamari was ok cooked but better was almost burned. We still ate it. It was still tender. My husband was happy with his meal. steak and potato. I ended up ordering a pretzel. Cooked just right. We had a party of 6 on a Friday night (made a reservation) and were seated right away. The service was friendly. Everyone’s meals came out fast despite it being busy and they were all correct and delicious. The staff was very responsive to requests. We would definitely come back again!
The service was sooo slow. It took someone at least 5 mins to come over to seat us. There were just a lot of people milling around doing nothing. Food was slow, and just meh. Nothing exciting and the mashed potatoes came out cold. Our waitress was nice enough, but very slow. Would not recommend unless you want to be there a good hour and half for little to no reason.
We had 7 people on Saturday night. The beef stew was shredded beef with 3 little slightly mashed potatoes, very salty and not great! The beef barbecue was dry with only a tablespoon of sauce. The pork chops were thin and dried out with way too much rosemary on them. And let me tell you the shepherds pie was not shepherds pie! I have never had shepherds pie with big chunks of undercooked meat, pea pods and slightly mashed potatoes that tasted that like they were old. I thought this would be a gr … – show
