No pictures, I apologized but we were in the area decided to try this place for lunch today. We’ve been to many Greek eateries in Suffolk (mostly central Suffolk in case this makes a difference) we’ve never been served such a tiny gyro. We’ve also never been given a gyro that didn’t have at least lettuce tomato on it. We got the combo gyro with side salad. The gyro was minimal. I had a hankering for a good Spanikopita last night. I've had the gyros from here before and they were good (though to be candid a gyro is a gyro to me; kinda hard to mess that up). I placed my order for pick up and grabbed my spinach pie — cost me nearly $9. Completely reasonable for an appetizer except you don't get a pie (I've gotten this same appetizer from other Greek Places and you get a massive circular tin or something similar). I moved to Rocky Point almost three years ago and have not found a Greek place that compares to Athens Square! So tonight’s meal was amazing!! I wish there were duplicates of this tasty deliciousness out east!!
