I absolutely loved the atmosphere and staff! My family of 5 ordered multiple items. My favorite, by far, was my husband's bbq plate. That bbq was phenomenal! The spaghetti was good (you may need to ask for extra sauce), the chicken sandwich was good, and the honey bbq chicken wrap was pretty good. My honest only complaint is that the fries were bland. Now some people like that (my son did), but I prefer some seasonin... View all feedback.
What Tammi Alfano doesn't like about Porky's -b-q:
The waitress was great. The flounder was not cooked right. Our waitress was having a conversation with us and a lady named Sara was rude. Told our waitress she needed to take the customer at counter. Sara was not doing anything at that time. Why could she not have taken the order. Twice we have been in there and she has a snotty way toward us. Our waitress was checking on us.. On 8/5 and 8/6 tried to order a barbecue tray both times they said they were out of Barbecue Wow. Thats like going to burger king and them saying were out of hamburgers.LOL.
Stopped in for lunch and it was amazing! Will be back soon.
If I could give 0 stars I would. We walked in, and saw the seat yourself sign. 5 waitresses behind the counter, ALL saw us sit down. An elderly couple came in and sat down, a waitress ran to them and took their order. Another couple came in and sat behind us. Still not one waitress moved. After 10min one waitress told the others someone needed “to go greet those tables” , one waitress said “oh those tables have already eaten”, when she was told no that we had been waiting (so they knew), she begrudgingly came over and sat menus down at both tables and asked our drink orders. She told the table behind us “I’m sorry, I never saw anyone come in” (total lie). She walked off to get our drinks…..cue more waiting. About 5min later 2 girls come up (one was being trained) and asked the table behind us and then us what we wanted to drink. So we told them. Annnnddd more waiting…the 2 waitresses came back and took the order of the table behind us. Glanced at us and walked off. 5min later my mom walked to the front to one of the waitresses and asked could someone please take our order, we have been waiting for a long time. The woman got huffy and said “yeah, give me a minute”. When we finally had our order taken and got our food, I think it was the worst meal I’ve had out. Mac and cheese was stone cold (refrigerator cold) with 0 seasoning. Country style steak was so salty it was gross. The only good thing was the hushpuppies and that’s sad. We never got a ticket, so we went up front and told them what we had to eat to check out. The girl rang it up and ran our card, and promptly walked off. We weren’t given a receipt, we weren’t able to sign one, nothing. With today’s economy you would think people would go above and beyond with service, since they rely on tips to make their living. We will never go back.
