We really like this place. They do modern cuisine with the excellent material from Galicia. It is a great choice if you want some contemporary cuisine in La Coruña.
We came in for lunch last week and had an amazing culinary experience. We ordered the oysters, almejas, puerros, empanada, some fish, and albondigas de jabalí. For dessert we also had their flan and chocolate cake. The lady staff who attended us was accommodating.
Beautiful food using local flavors but elevated and modernized. The interior decor is just as beautiful and the attentiveness from the staff is so warm and welcoming. A favorite place in A Coruña and in Galicia as a whole.
A brilliant spot for a rewarding experience. We came here for a birthday lunch. The asparagus with hazelnut sauce is unimaginable. My favorite. Also loved the goose egg with leeks.
We have visited other Michelen restaurants in Spain and Portugal and sadly this does not compare. Food was nothing special and over priced. We ate in another allegedly not so good restaurant the following evening which was hands down much better. We had fish courses, croquettes and a desert. As I understand, there should be nothing on the plate that is not edible. Parchment paper is definitely not edible, see photo. The staff were very polite and friendly, however, I would expect them to be dressed in clean aprons for that standard of eatery. It's a shame and I feel a little let down.
