We arrived at 7pm and sat at the bar and asked for a food menu only to be told that they don’t serve food until 8pm , not a problem but make it clear on the opening hours so we had a nice bottle of Alborino wine , at 8pm we asked for the tasting menu that we had read so much about only to be told that it must be preordered ! Please make it clear !? We then ordered coquille saint jacques , polpo which was swimming in a slightly unpleasant sauce and salt cod with mussel pesto which was excellent. The mum prepares the deserts and we enjoyed a nice cheesecake with quince and another bottle of wine this time a Ribero . We came on a Friday and it wasn’t particularly busy at 10.30 when we left and the lively atmosphere we read about was nonexistent. The prices are reasonable and food ok but nothing special.
