We booked for lunch at this tiny, 16 seat cafe in old town. The place used to be a barber shop, hence the name and some cute leftover decorations. Mauro was our... read more We booked for lunch at this tiny, 16 seat cafe in old town. The place used to be a barber shop, hence the name and some cute leftover decorations. Mauro was our waiter, friendly, efficient, and informative. He told us what each of our six, yes, six courses, consisted of, in both English and Spanish. We were blown away by the overall quality, and supreme value, of what we ate. My favorite dish was the heirloom tomatoes with a seaweed béchamel atop it. When dessert arrived, it was not one, but TWO pieces of very good homemade cakes each. Mauro told us his mother made them all, and then we met her and got a hug at the end of the meal. All this for 20 Euros each plus wine so inexpensive coca cola would cost more!
