Fantastic staff and great selection of comfort food.

The Wayside Inn is so beautiful, our waitress was wonderful, we ordered the sirloin steak medium rare and the lobster casserole,. Appetizer was artichoke dip. The lobster casserole was perfect, steak came out raw, we sent it back and the new one was bloody as well. The artichoke dip was without flavor. I think they were just having a bad night. We will be back.

Wonderful lunch at this historic inn/museum. Quiet grounds, reasonable prices, spacious dining area, fireplace, as well as a cozy tavern right as you enter. A real gem!

This drink, the Coow Woow, was so yummy and also so very strong! Dinner was delicious and our overnight accommodations were wonderful! Thank you for making the end of my birth-month wonderful! Shout out to Maureen at the front desk...... her welcoming hospitality really made checking in easy and we felt very comfortable. Sam was our waitress for dinner and she worked diligently making sure we had everything we needed! Dave in the tavern was a plethora of historical information as well as a wonderful conversationalist. We will return!

Unique and historic dining experience. Great menu that provides classic New England fair for an authentic meal fitting for a storied restaurant with a couple centuries of historic characters as guests.
